// Beachcomber - George Mackay Brown //
I was moved by George Mackay Brown's poem 'Beachcomber' as it resonated with my personal connection to the sea and Orkney. As someone who misses beachcombing, I found therapeutic release in expressing my interpretation of the sea's impact through my designs.

My focus was on capturing the way water alters the appearance of objects and flows around them. I wanted to reflect this in my designs by showcasing the slow, gradual erosion caused by the sea's ebb and flow. To achieve this effect, I intentionally incorporated a worn and aged look into the typography.

Ultimately, my aim was to rekindle people's connection to the sea and evoke the same sense of wonder and awe that I feel when I'm beachcombing.
